Suzy Named One of Inc. Magazine’s Best Workplaces of 2022!
For the second year in a row, Suzy has been recognized as a 2022 Best Workplace by Inc. Magazine, ranking as one of the top organizations prioritizing employee wellbeing and shaping workplace values.
Fresh off being recognized as one of Forbes’ Top Five For America’s Best Startup Employers in 2022, Suzy is celebrating being named to Inc.’s annual 2022 Best Workplaces list. The list recognizes 475 companies that have created exceptional workplaces, standout company culture, and impressive employee engagement—whether teams are working in-person or remotely.
“After a year characterized by The Great Resignation, inflation, and supply chain issues, this recognition is a high honor,” said Founder & CEO Matt Britton of the award. “Here at Suzy, we’re proud to put people first. It’s one of our core values. Without prioritizing our people and their wellbeing, Suzy wouldn’t be Suzy.”
In order to put people first at Suzy in a remote environment, the organization focused on real-time listening to their community. Employee engagement surveys delivered regular feedback, which allowed the team to pivot and meet needs. Suzy also focused on employee growth, both personally and professionally. Finally, the team empowered leaders to make the big decisions, allowing the whole company culture to scale during a year of growth.
This year, thousands of companies applied to be recognized as one of Inc.’s Best Workplaces.
In partnership with Quantum Workplace, Inc. Magazine collected data from employee surveys that evaluated important topics such as management effectiveness, perks, fostering employee growth, and benefits. Inc. Magazine then analyzed the data to rank all the companies using a composite score from the survey results.
“Not long ago, the term ‘best workplace’ would have conjured up images of open-office designs with stocked snack fridges,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “Yet given the widespread adoption of remote work, the concept of the workplace has shifted. This year, Inc. has recognized the organizations dedicated to redefining and enriching the workplace in the face of the pandemic.”
Redefining the workplace has big implications for culture too. “Every high-growth company is worried about culture as it scales, so we are proud to have won this award again during a year when Suzy saw tremendous growth,” Chief People Officer Anthony Onesto said. “Suzy’s focus on real-time listening to our community, rethinking the ways we work, commitment to employee growth, and empowering our leaders are our cultural advantages.”
