Fresh off being recognized as one of Forbes’ Best Startup Employers in 2021, Suzy is celebrating being named to Inc.’s annual Best Workplaces list

The list recognizes 429 companies that have created exceptional workplaces, standout company culture, and impressive employee engagement—whether teams are working in-person or remotely.

Suzy also has the distinct honor of being named a winner in the Prosperous & Thriving category, for companies with $5-$50 million in revenue.

“We pride ourselves on putting our teams of incredibly talented people and their wellbeing front and center at Suzy,” said Founder & CEO Matt Britton of the award. “That’s what makes this recognition so special: It underscores and exemplifies one of our core values as an organization, which is that people come first and without them, we have nothing.”

This year, thousands of companies applied to be recognized as one of Inc.’s Best Workplaces.

In partnership with Quantum Workplace, Inc. Magazine collected data from employee surveys that evaluated important topics such as management effectiveness, perks, fostering employee growth, and benefits. Inc. Magazine then analyzed the data to rank all the companies using a composite score from the survey results.

At Suzy, an increased emphasis was placed on attracting, building, and engaging an entirely remote workforce over the past year. From expanded mental health benefits and virtual classes to weekly employee engagement surveys and safe collaboration spaces, these actions led to remarkable growth for Suzy—and remarkable employee satisfaction.

“The definition of a positive workplace has changed drastically over the past year,” said Inc. Magazine editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “Stocked fridges and nap pods were no longer perks many companies could rely on once work went remote. So, this year’s list is even more important as it reveals organizations that continue to enrich the lives of its employees amid a pandemic.”

Chief People Officer Anthony Onesto agreed, saying of the recognition, “This has been a challenging year for everyone, so we’re very grateful to receive honors like these, particularly since it’s a direct result of employee feedback. I think it’s a testament to the culture we’ve created over the years and our relentless focus on providing opportunities for learning and career growth.”
